Why be sad when you're excommunicated by the Catholic Church? :D
Iniisip ko... It's not really a big deal if you are not religious...
Also... It's not really a big deal kung hindi mo kelangang makipagugnayan sa mga deeply religious people...
We live in the Philippines... Its a Christian country, dominated by Roman Catholics...
The Church's decision is still powerful... Powerful = Influential ... This is because the Government needs the support of the Church because the Church has the support of MOST people... :)
Actually, this applies to any religion... Having the support of religion in your pursuit for power in the government is very very Essential in our country... Since most people are under the "control" of religion...
Democratic = Government by the People.... So you can say that those who controls the people really are the ones who control the Government... :)
Now... anong connection nito sa Excommunication..?
There was this news that a government official was threatened by the Church with excommunication...
Why? Because he was for RH Bill....
People are smarter today... Futile yung ginawa nung simbahan... :D (well at least I think it is.)
Excommunicate the guy for standing for a thing he thinks is Right :)
Useless... Unless deeply religious lahat ng mga sumoporta sa kanya nung eleksyon...
If you can be excommunicated for standing for what you believe is right (which its against the church's opinion), then....................... so? E ano ngayon kung excommunicated ka... Makakasakay ka pa rin naman sa LRT kahit excommunicated ka ha... Di ka naman mablablacklist sa mga fastfood chain kung excommunicated ka ha... Di ba? :)
My point? "Di na uso ang excommunication ngayon.". Just do what you think is right... :)
